I choose these because it showes how my writing improves over the whole course.

I have written many different pieces throughout my course. Each one of these pieces challenged me because I had to consistently explain the subject in detail and forced me to look beneath the surface of the texts I was reading. As a result, I learnt how to plan my answers before writing them, making it much easier to write longer texts such as my essay. Many of the pieces written before this, such as the novel summary, were not planned before I started writing. This made it harder for me to write these and I found they didn’t turn out as well. I found that it had more grammar issues than my other pieces and that I didn’t really put as much thought into it. I would spend more time explaining my quotes in more detail to improve this piece.
